Who The Course Is For
How The Course Is Structured The course consists of twelve training days spread over six weekends (or four long weekends on the Autumn Course). The lessons cover history, theory and spiritual aspects of Thai Yoga Massage. The main part consists of practical hands-on training with easy to follow demonstrations and students both giving and receiving Thai Yoga Massage sequences.
Over a period of 6 months you will:
By the end of the training you will be able to give a complete two-hour traditional Thai yoga massage to practitioner level and to treat a variety of specific ailments. ![]() After completing the training period, students who wish to receive professional certification need to complete 30 documented case studies and return for a final assessment approximately six months later. After successful completion of the assessment, students can get accredited with CMA and practice Thai yoga massage professionally and with insurance. For this, it is necessary to hold a recognised certificate of 55 hours (Level 3 ITEC or NVQ) in Anatomy and Physiology. (Yoga teachers and other therapists may not need to do this, please check if your current insurer will add Thai yoga massage to your current policy or if CMA recognises your A+P qualification). It is possible to attend the course if you miss training days as any material missed can be covered in one to one lessons.
