THAI YOGA MASSAGE BEGINNERS AND ADVANCED INTENSIVE IN KAO SOK NATIONAL PARK, THAILAND (11 NIGHTS)
Feb 13-24th, 2012

Join us for this 11 day Intensive; we are running Beginner and Advanced Level at the same time. This is a truly amazing location: the 500 Rai Floating Guesthouse at Chewlan Lake in Khao Sok National Park, Southern Thailand.

The pristine natural beauty, stillness and peace of “the lake” need to be experienced to believe that such a place can exist.

An hour by car from Surattani airport, another hour by longtail boat, a 20 minute hike through the jungle, and then you’ve reached Chewlan lake, a stunning and incredibly peaceful lake in the midst of the most unspoiled and beautiful jungle. The wildlife includes many different species of monkeys and rare tropical birds, eagles and even elephants and tigers.

We will be staying in simple but beautiful bamboo huts that are floating on the lake. Imagine waking up to the sound of the gibbons and birds, then going for a kayak ride to the other side to greet the monkeys and the awakening jungle, then back to meditation and yoga practice on our floating sala…what a way to start the day! The major part of our days is filled with 6 hours of Thai Yoga Massage instruction and practice. This environment is absolutely ideal to learn this healing art in a most focused, relaxed and undistracted way. The quiet evenings are usually spent relaxing or talking, sharing, chanting or reading.

3 simple but delicious meals a day will be served, consisting mostly of fresh fish from the lake, brown rice and fresh vegetables and fruit. We can also cater for vegetarians if you let us know in advance.

This will be an unforgettable experience for every participant…“the lake” is probably the single most beautiful place that I have ever visited and I truly look forward to welcoming you there in February!
